The film, directed by Ali Mohammed, takes viewers on an immersive journey through the legendary Mesopotamian Marshes — a UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases Iraq's natural beauty and cultural heritage. The judges praised the film's stunning cinematography and its sensitive portrayal of the marsh communities. This award follows our earlier success at the 4th Meihodo International Youth Visual Media Festival in Japan, where the film also received top honors.
